Are you a CNC Programmer with strong OKUMA lathe experience looking to step into a senior-level machining and leadership role?
We’re seeking an experienced CNC professional to program, set up, and support high-precision aerospace machining operations on OKUMA and Haas CNC lathes. This is a hands-on role within a stable manufacturing environment producing tight tolerance aerospace components.
You’ll be trusted to lead from the floor, improve machining processes, and support production performance on complex precision parts.

Key Responsibilities
Program and set up OKUMA CNC lathes for precision aerospace components Support Haas CNC lathe programming and setup activities Create and edit programs at the machine control and through Mastercam where applicable Optimize cycle times, tooling, and machining processes Troubleshoot machining and quality issues on the shop floor Support operators and machinists with technical guidance and setup assistance Maintain tight tolerances and high-quality machining standards Assist with scheduling, workflow coordination, and team leadership where required
Qualifications & Skills
10+ years of CNC programming and setup experience Strong experience with OKUMA CNC lathes Experience with Haas CNC equipment Mastercam programming experience preferred Background in aerospace machining and tight tolerance work Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T Leadership or supervisory experience preferred Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident Green Card Holder
