Overview
We’re looking for a sharp, numbers-driven Financial Analyst to support real estate deal underwriting and loan packaging. This role is ideal for someone who is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and strong in Excel.
You’ll be reviewing deals, building financial models, and helping turn raw data into clean, lender-ready submissions.
Key Responsibilities
Deal Analysis & Underwriting
- Review rent rolls, T-12s, and financials
- Identify inconsistencies, missing data, and red flags
- Analyze cash flow, NOI, and expense ratios
- Validate data across multiple sources
Financial Modeling (Excel Heavy)
- Input and maintain deal data in financial models
- Build and adjust pro formas
- Analyze in-place vs. stabilized performance
- Stress test assumptions and flag risks
Data Organization
- Clean, organize, and standardize financial data
- Maintain accurate, audit-ready deal files
Loan Packaging
- Prepare lender submissions (summaries, cash flow, key metrics)
- Write clear deal summaries and emails to lenders
- Support overall deal presentation
Nice to Have
- Experience with real estate underwriting or acquisitions
- Familiarity with rent rolls and T-12s
- Background in accounting, real estate, property insurance, or legal
Requirements
- Strong financial and analytical skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency (must be an Excel power user)
- High attention to detail
- Ability to break down complex data into clear outputs
- Strong written English
