DevOps Engineer

To keep our high-throughput, multi-lingual platform running seamlessly, we are expanding our engineering team in the Netherlands. We are looking for a high-powered DevOps Engineer to take full ownership of our dynamic cloud architecture, accelerate our deployment pipelines, and ensure total system reliability as we scale worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect & Scale Cloud Infrastructure: Design, deploy, and maintain highly available, secure, and scalable cloud environments optimized for complex AI workload processing.
• Optimize CI/CD Pipelines: Build and refine automated deployment pipelines to enable fast, reliable, and continuous releases across all our core services.
• Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Standardize, automate, and manage our entire infrastructure using modern IaC frameworks to maintain absolute consistency across environments.
• Enhance System Resilience: Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to proactively diagnose performance bottlenecks and guarantee maximum platform uptime.
• Collaborate with Engineering Teams: Work side-by-side with AI researchers and backend developers to streamline software delivery, optimize resource utilization, and embed Security-by-Design practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven DevOps Track Record: Solid experience in a dedicated DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure engineering role within a fast-paced environment.
• Cloud Platform Expertise: Deep hands-on experience managing and configuring production environments on major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Containerization & Orchestration: Strong expertise with Docker and Kubernetes for managing microservices at scale.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency with tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to build reliable, reproducible infrastructure.
• CI/CD Mastery: Advanced proficiency with automation tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins) for continuous integration and continuous delivery.
• Scripting & Automation: High level of fluency in Python, Bash, or Go for custom automation and internal tool development.

Nice-to-Have

• AI/ML Infrastructure: Experience managing GPU infrastructure, vector databases, or large-scale machine learning pipelines.
• Security & Compliance: Familiarity with global data privacy frameworks (such as GDPR) and cloud security best practices.
• Site Reliability Engineering (SRE): Background in establishing SLOs, SLAs, error budgets, and incident management protocols.
