The client is an 18‑month‑old, founder‑led recruitment boutique specialising in data, AI and software talent across Europe and the US. They are a lean, fully remote business with the ambition to grow a recruitment team in South Africa, starting with this role
The Founding Delivery Consultant will own delivery across various IT contractor roles across the EU, working closely with the founders. This is a strategic hire where you'll plug into an active desk with core clients and have the opportunity to grow with the business and into a potential lead role in South Africa.
Own end‑to‑end delivery on European tech contract roles (data, AI/ML, software engineering), with a focus on Eastern & Southern Europe and fast turnarounds.
Source, screen and deliver high-quality candidates for active roles
Act as primary delivery partner on a flagship consulting client in Germany/Nordics, helping scale from current pilots toward a larger contractor programme.
Run low‑volume, high‑urgency pipelines: manage fewer live roles at once but with deep focus, strong qualification and high quality on every shortlist.
Source candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, SourceWhale (multi‑step email outreach) and Atlas CRM, combining targeted InMails with structured email campaigns.
Contribute to building a strong database of active and passive candidates across the ATS.
During pre‑planned “US weeks”, shift to later hours to work on large US perm roles with significantly higher fixed‑fee commissions.
Agency recruitment background (non‑negotiable), ideally from a UK/US‑style environment with strong best practices and high‑pace delivery.
Proven contract recruitment experience, comfortable with fast‑moving roles, urgent delivery expectations and contractor lifecycle.
Exposure to the tech ecosystem (data/AI/software engineering or adjacent areas such as SAP/ERP), with confidence sourcing niche technical profiles.
Strong sourcing skills on LinkedIn Recruiter plus experience (or clear aptitude) with email engagement tools like SourceWhale and working within a CRM/ATS.
Self‑sufficient, commercially minded recruiter who can thrive remotely, communicate proactively and is motivated by clear targets and commission.
You’ll be operating in a busy EU contract market, where clients expect speed, quality and the ability to tap into nearshore, fully remote talent across Eastern and Southern Europe. The core of your work will be on European contract roles with predictable, recurring commission, but there is also the opportunity to work in high-paying US-based permanent roles. This will be pre-approved a week in advance and will allow you to earn significant commissions.
Base salary: R30,000 – R40,000 per month (experience‑dependent).
Commission – EU contracts: £450 per contractor placement, paid over 3 months (£150 x 3), aligned to the contract run‑rate.
Commission – US placements: £1,500 – £2,000 per US placement, depending on deal size and your level of ownership.
Remote from South Africa.
Core hours: 09:00/10:00 – 17:00/18:00 SA time, aligned with European clients.
US hours only during pre‑planned “US weeks”, agreed with you at least a week in advance; EU hours remain the core working pattern
