Role: Operations Manager – Offshore Assets

· Salary: £125,000 per annum
Overview of duties:
An opportunity exists for an experienced Operations Manager to provide leadership across offshore duty holder operations, supporting operations, maintenance and decommissioning service delivery.
Reporting to the Operations Director, the role is accountable for the safe, compliant and effective execution of offshore operations, while contributing to the strategic development and growth of the wider operations function
Key responsibilities:
· Provide leadership input into operations strategy, planning and delivery across duty holder assets
· Ensure operations management systems (safety, environmental and quality) remain robust, compliant and scalable
· Lead and develop operations, maintenance and offshore leadership teams in support of contract delivery
· Demonstrate visible and proactive safety leadership, promoting strong HSE culture and behaviours
· Lead operations business planning, budgeting and forecasting activities
· Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements for offshore duty holder operations
· Maintain effective working relationships with regulators, customers and industry stakeholders
· Collaborate closely with functional teams across the wider business to support integrated delivery
· Ensure all operational activities are executed safely and in line with company policies and procedures
· Undertake additional duties appropriate to the seniority and scope of the role
· Emergency Response
· Act as Emergency Response Duty Manager as required
· Participate in company Emergency Response arrangements in line with established procedures
What we are looking for:
· Degree qualified in Engineering, Business or a related discipline
· Project Management qualification desirable
· Significant operational management experience within the offshore energy sector
· Strong understanding of multi-disciplinary operations and maintenance environments
· Offshore certification (BOSIET & OGUK Medical) essential
· Strategic and commercially aware operational leader
· Strong experience managing O&M delivery teams
· Proven capability in budgeting, forecasting and operational planning
· Demonstrated ability to drive excellence in HSE performance
· Strong project management and delivery skills
· Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement capability
· Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels
· Tactful, decisive and outcomes-focused leadership style
