Role Overview

We are seeking two skilled and motivated Manufacturing Maintenance Technicians to join our dynamic team in Blythewood, SC. In this role, you will be crucial to our production success by performing a variety of maintenance tasks on our manufacturing equipment. You will handle preventative and predictive maintenance to ensure maximum uptime and operational efficiency. This position requires a hands-on problem-solver who can work collaboratively with production supervisors and operators to support all production initiatives, including line setups, equipment modifications, and repairs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform hands-on troubleshooting and repair of complex manufacturing equipment, focusing on electrical systems (up to 480V, 3-phase motors) and mechanical systems (hydraulics, pneumatics).
  • Execute preventative and predictive maintenance schedules on machinery such as air compressors and chillers to minimize downtime and ensure peak performance.
  • Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and engineering diagrams to diagnose issues and guide repairs.
  • Collaborate with the production team to support line set-ups, relocations, and equipment modifications to meet production goals.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment while documenting maintenance activities and repairs accurately.

Shifts Available

  • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 4:15 PM, Monday - Thursday
  • 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM - 2:15 AM, Sunday - Wednesday (includes a $1.00/hr shift differential)
  • Note: All new hires will train on 1st shift before transitioning to their assigned shift. Overtime is frequently available on Fridays and Saturdays.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent military experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
  • Proven, hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems (hydraulics, pneumatics) and electrical systems (up to 480V, 3-phase motors, drives).
  • A strong desire to learn and the ability to be trained on company-specific equipment.
  • Must be able to work one of the two specified shifts and be available for required overtime.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with robotics is a plus.
  • Military veteran status is highly desirable.
