Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP HCM/Payroll Functional Analyst to join our IT Business Solutions team. This role is pivotal in supporting and enhancing our HR and Payroll systems, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. You will be the subject matter expert for SAP Payroll, SuccessFactors Employee Central, and our Time & Attendance system, responsible for everything from configuration and troubleshooting to reporting and process improvement. This is a functional, business-facing role for a mature analyst who can translate complex business needs into robust technical solutions, not a generalist or developer position.
Key Responsibilities
- System Ownership & Support: Act as the primary owner for SAP Payroll and SuccessFactors Employee Central, managing configuration, master data integrity, integration dependencies, and end-to-end troubleshooting of payroll cycles.
- Time & Attendance Management: Oversee the configuration and support of our Time & Attendance system (WorkForce Software or Workday Timekeeping), ensuring compliance with complex labor rules and accurate data flow.
- Reporting & Analytics: Develop and maintain insightful reports and dashboards using Power BI and Spinifex to provide visibility into KPIs, audit controls, and payroll trends. Proactively address data requests from HR and Payroll leadership.
- Solution Delivery Lifecycle: Lead the full lifecycle of system enhancements, from gathering business requirements and writing functional specifications to coordinating testing (integration, regression, UAT) and driving end-user adoption.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on functional experience with SAP Payroll and SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
- Proven expertise in managing end-to-end payroll processes (weekly, monthly, off-cycle) and performing root cause analysis.
- Experience with a modern Time & Attendance system, preferably WorkForce Software or Workday Timekeeping.
- Strong reporting and data visualization skills using Power BI and Spinifex.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications and system configurations.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience with data integration and automation tools such as WinShuttle or Precisely.
- Familiarity with data warehousing and querying using Snowflake and SQL.
- A continuous improvement mindset with a track record of identifying and implementing process automations.
