Role Overview
We are seeking a proficient Risk Analyst to join our small, dynamic team supporting various lines of business within the bank's Functions. This role is pivotal in managing and overseeing third-party supplier risk throughout its lifecycle. You will act as a key advisor, drive process improvements, and build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure adherence to enterprise-wide risk management policies and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day third-party risk management operations, including supplier governance and oversight activities using tools like Archer and Ivalua.
- Provide advisory support to stakeholders on the risk assessment process and contribute to change management activities for new policies and tools.
- Identify process gaps, recommend efficiencies, and drive continuous improvements within the supplier management program.
- Develop and manage effective relationships with internal partners, including procurement and other business platforms, to resolve operational issues and escalate as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (BComm/MBA) or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in Supplier Risk Management, including knowledge of risk frameworks, methodologies, and the supplier management lifecycle.
- Working knowledge of Risk and Compliance tools such as Archer, Ivalua, or Concur.
- Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- CTPRP Certification, Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designation, or a Certificate of Professional Learning in Risk Management.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with data management and visualization tools like Tableau.
- Familiarity with the financial services or banking industry.
- Ability to interpret contract and commercial purchase language.
