ABOUT THE ROLE

This role sits within WNTD's embedded RPO team at Volta.

The brief is clear: find the best data centre delivery talent globally for Volta.

Volta's delivery organisation designs, builds and commissions the AI factories behind The Utility of Compute. It spans design and engineering, procurement, construction, project controls and commissioning, and it is growing fast. Your focus is finding the people that function needs, working with the leaders who run it to understand exactly what each role requires and bringing them people who have delivered at that level before.

This is a focused search role. Your job is to map the European data centre market, engage the strongest people in it and bring them to Volta, building the pipeline ahead of the projects that follow.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Find and engage the best data centre delivery talent across Europe for Volta
  • Work with design, engineering, procurement, construction and project controls leaders to understand their priorities and what good looks like for each role
  • Map the European market and directly engage the strongest people in hyperscale, colocation, EPC and mission-critical construction, bringing them into conversations they would not have found on their own
  • Bring engaged, well-briefed candidates into the process and support them through to offer
  • Keep pipeline data and search reporting accurate so leaders always know where each role stands

WHAT YOU BRING

  • A good understanding of the data centre development and construction lifecycle
  • Strong direct sourcing, headhunting and talent mapping capability, and the ability to turn a complex technical brief into a targeted search
  • A track record of finding and securing specialist and leadership talent across European markets
  • Experience working with senior design, engineering and construction leaders
  • Confidence running several critical searches across different countries at the same time
  • Experience within hyperscale, colocation, EPC, HPC or AI infrastructure would be advantageous
  • Flexibility to travel across Europe when required
