Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks to ensure the highest quality standards for our software products. You will work closely with developers and product managers to identify potential issues early in the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, scalable automated test suites for web and mobile applications.
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous quality assurance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and identify critical test cases.
• Conduct thorough root cause analysis of defects and provide detailed bug reports.
• Maintain and update existing test scripts to accommodate new features and system changes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience in software testing with a strong focus on automation.
• Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable code in languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience with automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and the software development life cycle (SDLC).

Nice-to-have Qualifications

• Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• ISTQB or equivalent software testing certification.
