Are you a QA professional who thrives on tearing down manual testing barriers and building bulletproof, scalable automation frameworks from scratch?

At Alfa Technology Recruitment, we are looking for a forward-thinking QA Automation Engineer to spearhead our transition into a fully automated, continuous integration testing environment. In this role, your primary mission will be to eliminate repetitive manual processes by designing, executing, and maintaining robust automated test suites that ensure our software delivery is both rapid and flawless. Working in a collaborative, agile setting, you will be the ultimate champion of software quality, driving best practices across our entire development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Framework Development: Design, build, and maintain highly scalable test automation frameworks for both web applications and APIs from the ground up.
  • Test Execution & Monitoring: Author, execute, and debug complex automated test scripts, proactively identifying bottlenecks and performance regressions.
  • CI/CD Integration: Seamlessly integrate automated test suites into our continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to facilitate rapid, high-quality releases.
  • Collaboration & Advocacy: Work closely with software developers, product managers, and system architects to understand requirements, define test coverage, and champion a quality-first mindset.
  • Defect Tracking & Reporting: Document, track, and manage software defects meticulously, providing detailed technical reports to help engineering teams resolve issues quickly.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Automation Expertise: Proven hands-on experience as a QA Automation Engineer, with a strong track record of building automated test frameworks using tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
  • Programming Proficiency: Strong coding skills in modern programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • API Testing: Deep understanding of RESTful API testing, utilizing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar libraries.
  • CI/CD & DevOps: Practical experience working with CI/CD tools (such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions) and version control systems like Git.
  • Agile Mindset: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, Agile/Scrum environment.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with mobile application automation using Appium.
  • Familiarity with performance and load testing tools such as JMeter or Locust.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies like Docker.
