Alfa Demo Inc. is seeking an energetic, driven Padel Club Manager to take full ownership of our dedicated venue in Wilmslow, Cheshire. In this permanent, full-time, on-site role, you will be the beating heart of the club—running daily operations, fostering a vibrant member culture, and ensuring every player steps onto high-calibre courts with an outstanding experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct day-to-day club operations, overseeing facility opening and closing procedures, court maintenance, and strict adherence to health and safety standards.
- Lead, inspire, and manage the on-site team, handling staff recruitment, rota scheduling, onboarding, and ongoing performance management.
- Deliver an unmatched customer experience by serving as the primary front-of-house presence, engaging with members, and building a loyal, connected sporting community.
- Coordinate court bookings, club coaching schedules, open sessions, and competitive tournaments to maximise court activity and player involvement.
- Drive smooth club administration, ensuring member relations, conflict resolution, and operational standards are maintained at the highest level.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven background in sports facility operations or sports club management, with solid experience managing day-to-day facilities and maintaining court standards.
- In-depth understanding of padel, tennis, or related racquet sports, including experience organising tournaments, leagues, and coaching schedules.
- Demonstrated team leadership and staff management capabilities, from hiring and scheduling to day-to-day coaching and line management.
- Exceptional customer service and member relations skills, with a hospitality mindset geared toward community building and player retention.
- Comprehensive knowledge of facility health and safety compliance, alongside strong operational problem-solving abilities.
- Must be based locally or able to commute to our on-site facility in Wilmslow on a full-time basis (visa sponsorship is not available for this role).
Nice-to-have
- Familiarity with specialised club management and court booking platforms such as Matchi or Playtomic, as well as modern POS and CRM systems.
- Strong commercial acumen, including previous experience with retail management, pro shop oversight, food and beverage operations, or membership sales.
