Shift Supervisor

Role Overview

As a Shift Supervisor at Zapp, you will be at the heart of our operations, responsible for the overall performance of a Zapp store during your shift. You are a key driver of Zapp's continued growth and commitment to an exceptional customer experience. This role requires a passion for motivating people, strong communication skills, and a determination to achieve outstanding results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Motivation: Supervise, guide, and lead your store team during your shift, fostering a positive and high-performance work environment to ensure team success.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee the accurate and timely preparation of customer orders, ensuring strict adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Inventory & Resource Management: Take ownership of stock management processes, including inbounding, putaway, and cycle counting, while also managing staff resourcing and attendance to ensure smooth shift operations.
• Performance Reporting & Health & Safety: Manage and report on shift performance, escalating issues as needed, and champion Health & Safety as a top priority for all team members.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience managing front-line operations teams in environments like Food, Retail, Hospitality, or Warehousing.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills.
• The ability to confidently and independently lead shifts and make decisions.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, daytimes, and nights.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience with inventory management systems.
• First Aid or Health & Safety certification.
