About the Role

Dune has a million users and 1,000+ paying accounts — but we’re just scratching the surface of our growth potential. We’ve built incredible self-serve momentum, and now we’re looking for a growth leader to build and scale the systems that convert our massive user base into a repeatable, high-performing product-led growth (PLG) engine.

As Growth Lead, you’ll own the full funnel — from a user landing on our site for the first time to providing our sales org with product qualified leads — and build up a cross-functional growth team. You’ll combine product thinking with go-to-market execution to identify the most impactful growth levers and operationalize them at scale.

This role is both strategic and hands-on. You’ll set the growth vision, define key metrics, and build the growth function and systems that drive sustainable, compounding growth across all of Dune’s products — starting with our Analytics product and in the future also our developer platform Sim.

What You’ll Do

  • Define and execute on Dune’s growth strategy. Together with Dune’s CEO as well as other senior leaders.
  • Build out Dune’s growth function. Define, hire and manage a small but high impact growth team to drive B2B self-serve and enterprise business lines through product-led growth.
  • Lead cross-functional growth initiatives. Partner with product, marketing, design, and sales to identify and execute high-impact growth opportunities across activation, retention, and expansion.
  • Build and scale the growth engine. Establish the systems, processes, and infrastructure (campaigns, lifecycle journeys, lead qualification, analytics) that turn signups into paying enterprise customers.
  • Run data-driven experimentation. Oversee the design and execution of growth experiments — including in-product flows, onboarding optimizations, A/B tests, and lifecycle campaigns.
  • Translate insights into action. Hire and manage a data function instrument funnels, analyze behavior, and turn product usage data into actionable growth levers.
  • Drive PLG → Enterprise alignment. Collaborate closely with Sales to build a tight handoff between self-serve users and enterprise opportunities.

About You

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B growth and/or product roles, with at least 2 years of leadership experience.
  • Proven success in B2B SaaS, data, API, or PLG environments, ideally with self-serve → enterprise motions.
  • Former founder/operator mindset. You thrive in ambiguity, move fast, and know how to balance scrappy experimentation with long-term scalability.
  • Fluent in growth systems. You’ve built and scaled activation, and paid conversion loops.
  • Strong data intuition. You’re comfortable working with analytics tools (Amplitude, Metabase) and leveraging data to make decisions.
  • Cross-functional leader. You know how to align teams across engineering, product, marketing, and sales to achieve shared growth goals.
  • Hands-on builder. You’re willing to dive into HubSpot, analytics dashboards, and lifecycle workflows to prototype before scaling.

Not a requirement but bonus if you have

  • Experience leading growth at a startup or building a growth org from scratch.
  • Experience with data infrastructure and/or developer-focused products.
  • Experience with or interest in crypto.
  • Experience integrating growth systems across multiple product lines.
