Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and driven Multifamily Project Manager to join our rapidly growing, well-capitalized multifamily division in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will lead the ground-up construction of high-profile, 200 to 300-unit wood-frame (Type V/III) projects from pre-construction through to final handover and closeout.

Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Manage the overall execution of 200-300 unit wood-frame multifamily projects, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Financial Management: Oversee project budgets, cost control, billing, monthly draws, and change order management.
- Subcontractor Management: Lead procurement, negotiate subcontracts, manage vendor relationships, and resolve field conflicts.
- Scheduling: Develop, maintain, and enforce detailed project master schedules to ensure key milestones and occupancy dates are met.
- Safety & Compliance: Partner with onsite Superintendents to enforce rigorous jobsite safety protocols and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in multifamily construction project management, specifically leading 200+ unit ground-up wood-frame (stick-built) projects.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of wood-frame construction techniques, MEP systems, and podium structures.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with modern construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam).
- Local Market Knowledge: Familiarity with Charlotte-area subcontractors, municipalities, and permitting processes is highly preferred.
