Groundskeeper

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Groundskeeper to maintain and enhance the aesthetic appeal and safety of our outdoor spaces. The successful candidate will be responsible for the upkeep of lawns, gardens, walkways, and perimeter areas to ensure a pristine and welcoming environment for all visitors and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine lawn maintenance including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aeration.
• Manage planting, pruning, and weeding of flower beds, shrubs, and trees to maintain landscape health.
• Ensure all walkways, parking lots, and outdoor seating areas are free of debris, litter, and seasonal hazards (e.g., snow or ice removal).
• Operate and maintain gardening tools and heavy machinery such as tractors, leaf blowers, and hedge trimmers safely.
• Monitor and adjust irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering schedules for all vegetation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance.
• Proficiency in operating various types of power tools and landscaping equipment.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Basic knowledge of plant health, pest control, and soil nutrition.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Certification in Horticulture or a related field.
• Valid driver's license for operating site vehicles.
• Experience with automated irrigation system repair.
