Are you a Plant Manager with experience in metal fabrication and stamping, capable of leading from the front in a fast-paced production environment?
We’re working with a well-established 100-person manufacturing operation producing fabricated, stamped, and painted components. This role will take full ownership of site performance — leading department heads, driving output, and improving standards across the board.
You’ll be responsible for aligning production, quality, and people — ensuring the plant runs efficiently, hits schedule, and maintains strong morale on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage departmental leaders across Production, Quality, and Maintenance. Own daily production output, scheduling, and on-time delivery performance. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across fabrication, stamping, and paint processes. Implement and maintain quality standards, reducing scrap and rework. Develop workforce capability, engagement, and shop floor morale. Coordinate production planning and resource allocation to meet demand. Monitor KPIs across safety, quality, delivery, and cost — taking corrective action where needed.
Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience as a Plant Manager or Senior Operations Leader in metal manufacturing. Strong background in metal fabrication, stamping, and finishing/paint processes. Experience managing multiple department heads in a 50–150 employee facility. Knowledge of production scheduling, capacity planning, and workflow optimisation. Strong understanding of quality systems (ISO9001, SPC, root cause analysis). Track record of driving continuous improvement (Lean, Kaizen, CI initiatives). Confident leadership style — able to build accountability and improve morale.
