To continue building a seamless, intuitive, and human-centered platform, we are looking for a creative Interaction Designer based in Canada to join our team.

In this role, you will be the primary architect of user journeys across our AI-driven ecosystem. You will translate complex machine learning workflows into elegant, effortless interactions for both hiring teams and candidates. By bridging the gap between sophisticated technology and user needs, you will ensure our product remains accessible, engaging, and genuinely transformative.

Key Responsibilities

• Design End-to-End User Journeys: Map out intuitive user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes for candidate screening, multi-language video interviews, and recruiter dashboards.
• Refine AI-Human Interactions: Craft innovative interface solutions that make interacting with our AI recruiter, Lisa, feel natural, transparent, and empowering.
• Conduct User Research & Usability Testing: Gather qualitative and quantitative insights from recruiters and candidates worldwide to iterate on existing features and validate new concepts.
• Collaborate Across Discipline: Partner closely with product managers, data scientists, and frontend engineers to translate complex AI capabilities into feasible, delight-driven interface components.
• Maintain and Expand Design Systems: Contribute to Alfa AI’s scalable design system, ensuring visual and functional consistency across all desktop and mobile surfaces.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven Track Record: 3+ years of professional interaction design experience, ideally within SaaS, complex digital products, or AI-driven platforms.
• Prototyping & Tools: Advanced proficiency in Figma, Framer, or similar industry-standard design and interactive prototyping tools.
• User-Centered Approach: Strong background in applying user research, usability principles, and information architecture to real-world software challenges.
• Communication & Storytelling: Ability to articulate design decisions clearly to cross-functional teams and advocate passionately for the user's perspective.
• Location & Language: Based in Canada with full working fluency in English.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience designing conversational interfaces, voice user interfaces (VUI), or video-based digital experiences.
• Familiarity with web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) across international markets.
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS capabilities and constraints when working with AI components.
