Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused individual to join our team as a Trainee New Homes Sales Advisor in Colchester, Essex. This is an exciting entry-level position within the new homes sector, perfect for candidates looking to transition into property sales. Our client is highly welcoming of transferable skills and will actively consider backgrounds in Cabin Crew, Estate Agency, or Car Sales.

As the first point of contact on our development, you will guide prospective buyers through the exciting journey of purchasing a new build home, from initial enquiry to handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors to the marketing suite and show home, delivering exceptional customer service at all times.
• Guide prospective buyers through development layouts, plot options, and property specifications.
• Build a strong pipeline of leads by following up on enquiries via phone, email, and face-to-face consultations.
• Assist buyers with the reservation process, explaining options, extras, and purchasing schemes.
• Liaise with solicitors, financial advisors, and site managers to ensure smooth progression toward exchange and completion.

Requirements

• A strong background in face-to-face customer service, sales, or hospitality (Cabin Crew, Estate Agency, and Car Sales backgrounds are highly desirable).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Highly motivated, target-driven, and proactive mindset.
• Professional presentation and demeanor.
• Flexibility to work weekends, as this is a key trading period for new home sales.
• Must hold a valid UK driving license and have access to a vehicle.
