Role Overview
The Social team, part of Global Brand Management, is seeking a bilingual (English & French) Social Media Strategist to lead digital-first initiatives for Global Wealth and Asset Management. Working within a multi-disciplinary team of designers and content experts, you will develop and execute sophisticated social media strategies that drive engagement and support the bank’s global brand objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Execution: Lead the implementation and optimisation of Global Wealth’s social media strategy, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and regulatory compliance.
- Content Management: Oversee the full content lifecycle including ideation, bilingual copywriting (English/French), and managing the social media calendar for platforms like TikTok, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
- Analytics & Performance: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), using data-driven insights to analyse progress and refine future campaign strategies.
- Relationship Management: Develop and maintain partnerships with influencers across Canadian markets and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
- Compliance & Risk: Ensure all social media activities adhere to internal policies, AML/ATF sanctions, and governing financial regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Full professional fluency in both English and French with the ability to copywrite in both languages.
- 5+ years of experience in social media strategy, specifically within asset management or financial services.
- Advanced platform expertise including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and Threads.
Preferred Skills
- Spanish language proficiency.
- Previous experience with paid social media acquisition and performance marketing.
