
Global Head of Internal Talent - London - Full Time Permanent.
A leading London-based private investment and growth platform is seeking a Global Head of Internal Talent to lead recruitment across the group and its portfolio businesses.
This is a senior, highly visible role operating at the centre of a fast-paced entrepreneurial ecosystem spanning professional services, advisory, recruitment, technology-enabled services, and founder-led growth businesses across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, and North America.
The position goes beyond traditional in-house recruitment. The successful individual will act as both a strategic talent leader and a commercially minded operator, partnering closely with portfolio founders, leadership teams, and investors to support hiring, organisational scale, business growth, and talent strategy across multiple ventures. A strong background within recruitment, executive search, or talent consultancy is essential. This role is particularly well suited to someone who has built, scaled, managed, or operated within a recruitment business environment and understands the commercial realities of founder-led growth businesses.
Key responsibilities: • Leading internal talent acquisition across the group and its portfolio companies globally • Acting as a strategic hiring partner to founders, CEOs, and portfolio leadership teams • Managing senior and strategically important searches from brief through to onboarding • Advising businesses on organisational design, hiring strategy, team structure, and scaling plans • Supporting portfolio companies through periods of rapid growth, transformation, market expansion, and leadership build-out • Building talent pipelines across investment, operational, commercial, leadership, and functional roles • Working closely with senior stakeholders across both the investment platform and portfolio businesses • Helping drive hiring quality, process improvement, and talent infrastructure across the wider group
What we're looking for: • Strong executive search, recruitment consultancy, or talent leadership experience • Experience running, managing, scaling, or owning a recruitment or search business is highly desirable • Commercially minded with an understanding of how talent drives growth and enterprise value • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence founders, executives, and investors • Experience operating across multiple sectors and business models • High intellectual capability with the credibility to operate alongside sophisticated leadership teams • Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort operating in fast-moving, evolving environments • Strong delivery capability combined with strategic and consultative thinking
