Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our busy logistics team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations, ensuring that goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently and accurately. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Order Fulfilment: Accurately pick, pack, and label customer orders according to delivery schedules and quality standards.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with stock counts, reconcile deliveries against purchase orders, and report any discrepancies or damaged goods.
  • Goods In/Out: Efficiently unload incoming shipments and load outgoing vehicles using manual handling equipment.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workspace, adhering to all health and safety regulations and internal protocols.
  • System Updates: Use handheld scanners and warehouse management software to track stock movements and update inventory records in real-time.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution centre environment.
  • Strong physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy for checking delivery notes and stock quantities.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence (Counterbalance or Reach).
  • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Knowledge of health and safety best practices within a logistics setting.
