Role Overview

We are partnering with a fast-growing international business operating within the legal recruitment and professional development space. The organisation has built a highly engaged global community of in-house legal professionals through events, content, and podcasts.

We are seeking a Sales Development Representative to sit at the centre of this ecosystem, converting warm conversations into qualified commercial opportunities. This is not traditional cold-calling; it is a relationship-led role focusing on community engagement with professionals who already trust and engage with the brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Conversion: Manage warm inbound activity by calling and messaging community members to understand their hiring plans and team challenges.
  • Pipeline Management: Qualify event and webinar attendees and book discovery calls for the consulting team while maintaining accurate CRM records.
  • Needs Discovery: Conduct structured, consultative conversations to uncover budgets, timelines, and buying signals.
  • Nurture & Insight: Maintain relationships with long-term prospects and share market trends with leadership to refine commercial strategy.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 2–3 years’ experience in an SDR, BDR, or inside sales role (ideally within SaaS, training, or recruitment).
  • Proven ability to conduct consultative sales conversations and ask direct questions regarding budgets and hiring needs.
  • Disciplined approach to pipeline management, follow-ups, and hitting activity targets.
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to build rapport quickly.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Experience working within the legal or professional services sector.
  • Previous experience in a remote-first international business environment.
  • Familiarity with community-led growth strategies.
