
We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive Reporting & Analytics Consultant for a 12-month contract based in Downtown Toronto. This role serves as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and IT, responsible for translating complex reporting requirements into robust data solutions. You will lead the end-to-end delivery of reporting initiatives, from initial requirement gathering and SQL development to final implementation and technical support.

Proficiency required (daily or near-daily use):
· Tableau Desktop and Server Administration
· Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (or equivalent SQL IDE), Microsoft Access
· Microsoft Office/365/Copilot
· Atlassian Confluence and Jira
May be helpful but not required:
· Python scripting
SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) / BusinessObjects Enterprise (BOE)
Must-have Skills/Experiences and/or Education, certifications, qualifications, designations:
· Minimum five years of relevant experience with proven success managing initiatives and juggling multiple stakeholder priorities simultaneously.
· Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a logical, data-driven mindset and inherent sense of ownership and initiative.
· Degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
· Experience profiling data within an RDBMS (Sybase, MS SQL) using SQL
· Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a logical mind-set
· Excellent communication – clear and concise oral, written and presentation skills
· Proven ability to collaborate and maintain/build relationships
· Some experience in a Business Analyst or Data Analyst type role.
