As we continue to revolutionize hiring processes and lower recruitment costs for our clients, we are seeking a commercially sharp Quantity Surveyor to bring order, foresight, and financial rigor to our ongoing infrastructure, capital projects, and operational developments.

In this role, you will be the financial champion of our spatial and commercial projects in London, bridging the gap between innovative growth and rock-solid cost control. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment where your expertise directly shapes our expansion and resource efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Cost Management & Planning: Produce detailed cost plans, estimates, and elemental budgets for ongoing business infrastructure and site development projects across London.
• Procurement & Tendering: Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including preparing tender documentation, evaluating contractor bids, and negotiating competitive contract terms.
• Contract Administration: Oversee standard construction contracts (such as JCT or NEC), managing variation orders, assessing monthly valuations, and issuing payment certificates.
• Financial Reporting & Forecasting: Deliver accurate quarterly financial reports, cash flow forecasts, and final account reconciliations to ensure projects remain strictly within budget.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify potential commercial risks early and implement proactive strategies to mitigate financial exposure and operational delays.

Required Skills & Experience

• Professional Qualification: A degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a closely related discipline.
• Proven Track Record: At least 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the UK market, with direct experience handling projects in Greater London.
• Contractual Expertise: Strong working knowledge of UK building regulations, standard forms of contract (JCT/NEC), and local procurement practices.
• Commercial Acumen: Exceptional cost-analysis skills, budget management capabilities, and a track record of driving value for money.
• Communication & Negotiation: Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate effectively with external vendors, contractors, and internal leaders.

Nice-to-Have

• RICS membership (MRICS or FRICS status) or active progress toward chartership.
• Experience managing commercial fit-outs or technology-focused office developments.
• Familiarity with modern cost management software and digital procurement platforms.
