Role Overview
As the Vice President of Clinical Affairs, you will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing clinical operations, quality assurance, and the professional development of our dentists. This role requires a strategic leader who can bridge the gap between clinical excellence and business operations, ensuring that all practices provide top-tier patient care while maintaining regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of associate dentists, fostering a culture of clinical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Quality & Compliance: Develop and implement standardized clinical protocols, safety procedures, and quality assurance programs across all locations in the Chicago and Indiana markets.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with executive leadership to drive growth initiatives, optimize clinical workflows, and evaluate new dental technologies or materials.
- Performance Management: Monitor clinical KPIs and conduct regular peer reviews to ensure high standards of patient outcomes and provider productivity.
- Training & Development: Oversee continuing education programs and onboarding for new dental hires to ensure clinical competency and alignment with company values.
Required Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
- Active dental license in good standing (or eligibility for licensure) in Illinois or Indiana.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of clinical experience in dentistry.
- Proven track record of managing other dentists and clinical teams in a multi-site environment.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience in a Dental Support Organization (DSO) leadership role.
