Alfa Demo Inc. is looking for an ambitious Renewable Energy Asset Manager to take charge of operational performance and drive real-world impact from our base in London, United Kingdom. In this role, you will oversee renewable energy assets—with a strong focus on solar PV systems—ensuring high availability, proactive maintenance, and optimal generation. You will sit at the intersection of on-the-ground engineering, commercial stakeholder relations, and modern data-led management, turning complex operational data into actionable strategies that maximise asset value.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operational performance of renewable energy assets, primarily solar PV, ensuring maximum uptime, efficiency, and reliability across the portfolio.
- Manage operations and maintenance (O&M) contractors and specialised service providers, holding external partners accountable to high safety, performance, and quality standards.
- Continuously analyse asset performance data and operational KPIs to identify generation trends, detect anomalies, and implement preventative interventions.
- Conduct in-depth root cause analysis on technical faults and system underperformance, working directly with technical specialists to coordinate swift resolutions.
- Champion digital fluency by adopting and applying modern analytics, digital workflows, and AI-enabled tools to automate routine reporting and improve portfolio decisions.
- Act as a key technical liaison for landowners, investors, internal project teams, local communities, and regulatory partners, maintaining transparent and aligned communication.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong technical background in renewable energy asset management, with proven hands-on knowledge of solar PV systems or closely related clean energy technologies.
- Demonstrated track record in managing external O&M contractors, technical service agreements, and field specialists to ensure contract compliance and asset availability.
- Proven ability to extract insights from operational SCADA and monitoring data, linking technical metrics directly to asset health and performance improvements.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities, with direct experience leading root cause investigations and coordinating complex technical repairs.
- Clear, proactive stakeholder management skills, capable of communicating technical nuances effectively to commercial, financial, and community partners.

- Practical experience in deploying or testing AI, advanced automation, or predictive analytics tools to streamline portfolio reporting and performance monitoring.
