Are you an experienced JavaScript Developer looking for your next high-impact freelance challenge? Alfa Demo Inc. is seeking a talented contractor based in Germany to join our collaborative remote team on a full-time contract basis.
In this role, you will play a central part in engineering modern, responsive web interfaces, tackling complex frontend state, and delivering seamless user experiences tailored for dynamic digital platforms. Working fully remotely from Germany, you will collaborate with fellow developers to turn robust designs and modern web standards into reliable, production-ready code.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain responsive, high-performing web applications using modern JavaScript and component-based frontend frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with team members across the software lifecycle to translate requirements into clean, maintainable code.
- Integrate frontend interfaces with RESTful APIs, handling data formats such as JSON with speed and precision.
- Ensure high standards of cross-browser compatibility, web accessibility, and performance optimization across all devices.
- Participate actively in code reviews and engineering discussions to uphold technical standards and application stability.
Required Skills & Experience
- Deep proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+, Vanilla JS, browser APIs, and ECMAScript specifications).
- Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular, alongside established frontend state management practices.
- Strong background in core web technologies and standards, including HTML5, CSS3, and REST API integration.
- Demonstrated experience delivering cross-browser compatible, mobile-first responsive web designs.
- Residence in Germany with the existing right to work (please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this contract).
Nice-to-have
- Prior experience building media and entertainment web applications, including work with streaming media, video playback, audio processing, HLS, DASH, or digital asset delivery.
- Familiarity with Git workflows, GitHub or GitLab, code review processes, and Agile delivery environments.
