Junior React Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain responsive web components using React, HTML5, and modern CSS/Tailwind.
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers and product managers to transform wireframes into pixel-perfect user experiences.
• Integrate frontend interfaces with internal RESTful APIs and modern GraphQL microservices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while participating in constructive peer code reviews.
• Identify, debug, and resolve performance bottlenecks across different web browsers and mobile devices.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.

Required Skills & Experience

• Commercial experience or a strong personal portfolio demonstrating proficiency with React and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Solid understanding of core web technologies, including semantic HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
• Familiarity with state management patterns and popular React libraries (e.g., Redux, Context API, or React Query).
• Hands-on experience using version control systems, specifically Git and GitHub/GitLab.
• Basic understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and cross-browser compatibility issues.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude, paired with a keen enthusiasm for learning new technologies and frontend tools.

Nice-to-have

• Exposure to TypeScript, Next.js, or server-side rendering concepts.
• Experience writing unit tests using tools like Jest or React Testing Library.
