Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Data Entry Clerk to join our growing team. The primary purpose of this role is to manage and maintain our digital databases by accurately entering, updating, and verifying information. The ideal candidate will have a high level of accuracy, a methodical approach to repetitive tasks, and the ability to handle sensitive information with complete confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter data from various sources into the company's database systems within established timeframes.
  • Verify the accuracy of existing data by comparing it with source documents and correcting any inconsistencies or errors.
  • Maintain digital filing systems and ensure all records are properly categorised and easy to retrieve.
  • Perform regular data backups and assist in generating basic reports for departmental use.
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies by liaising with relevant team members or external partners.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a data entry or administrative role.
  • Excellent typing speed and high levels of accuracy (WPM 50+).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors quickly.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with CRM or ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations such as GDPR.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
