Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Endpoint Security Integration Specialist for a 7-month contract within our Toronto-based financial institution. This role acts as a technical product owner for endpoint security technologies, ensuring the bank maintains global, industry-leading protection across on-premise, cloud, and container environments. You will be responsible for the health, stability, and security posture of our endpoint protection suite while collaborating with cross-functional business partners to integrate security capabilities into the bank's core procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Product Ownership: Act as the technical lead for endpoint security technologies, ensuring global protection standards for on-premise and cloud infrastructure.
  • System Maintenance & Optimisation: Hands-on management of product health, stability, and audit readiness, including the tuning of detections, exclusions, and security policies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with business units to define deliverables and ensure security initiatives are seamlessly integrated into existing bank processes.
  • Project & Operational Delivery: Drive both strategic project work and day-to-day operations to expand and uplift security capabilities across Windows, Linux, and MacOS platforms.
  • Risk Management: Continuously identify, analyse, and mitigate potential issues or risks, escalating to stakeholders where appropriate.

Must-have Skills/Experiences and/or Education, certifications, qualifications, designations:

Looking for someone very seasoned, at least 5 years of related experience for all of the criteria listed below:

·        Strong knowledge of and the ability to support multiple Endpoint Security applications (CrowdStrike, FireEyeHX, AI security and Identity Security etc.) on Windows, Linux, and MacOS platforms as well as Cloud and Containers endpoints.

·        Endpoint security expertise and technology management in the following areas:

Ø Anti-virus/ anti-malware capabilities, Data Loss Prevention, Host-based Firewalls, Detections/ Exclusions tuning and management, mobile security threat management etc.

·        Knowledge of and working experience with traditional and Cloud based Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment Pipelines (CI/CD) for software deployment.

·        Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess issues within multiple technologies.

·        Strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to work closely with peers and business partners, and technical documentation writing skills.

·        Capability to manage multiple priorities across several assignments while prioritizing effectively.

·        Experience with advanced/technical trouble shooting skills

Nice-to-have Skills/Experience and/or Education, certifications, qualifications, designations:

·        Mobile security experience, working with mobile threat detection tools and/or mobile device management applications.

·        Prior Security Operations Centre (SOC) or similar security operations role is considered an asset.

·        Certifications in information security (e.g. CISSP, CCSP, CEH, ITIL)

·        Prior end user technology support experience is considered an asset.
