Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager with a strong background in Software Engineering hiring to join our Talent Solutions team at WNTD. This pivotal role will support a multi-year, high-scale technology infrastructure build across the UK and Europe. You will lead the attraction and hiring of software engineering talent, working closely with senior stakeholders to manage fast-paced hiring plans and ensure consistent delivery across multiple engineering workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for software engineering roles, from sourcing and screening to offer management, ensuring a high-quality pipeline of talent.
  • Partner with senior engineering leadership to define role requirements, create effective sourcing strategies, and provide regular updates on hiring progress and market intelligence.
  • Proactively source and engage passive candidates across the UK and Europe using advanced techniques like talent mapping, referrals, and direct outreach.
  • Champion an exceptional, inclusive, and fair candidate experience throughout the entire hiring journey.
  • Maintain meticulous data integrity within our applicant tracking system, providing accurate reporting on pipelines, progress, and key hiring metrics.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a senior talent acquisition role, hiring software engineers at scale within a fast-paced technology environment.
  • Demonstrable track record of building and managing diverse talent pipelines across multiple technical domains (e.g., backend, frontend, DevOps, data).
  • Strong technical acumen, with the ability to confidently discuss modern engineering practices, tools, and environments with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and partner effectively with senior leadership.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple high-priority roles simultaneously.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Experience hiring across multiple European markets.
  • Familiarity with data-driven recruitment reporting and analytics.
  • Previous involvement in large-scale technology transformation or build-out projects.
