Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, responsive web applications using React.js and modern JavaScript ecosystem tools.
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend engineers to translate functional requirements into slick, intuitive digital interfaces.
• Optimise applications for maximum speed, scalability, and seamless cross-browser performance under heavy traffic loads.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, contributing actively to code reviews and technical documentation.
• Champion modern frontend best practices, helping to refine our architecture and elevate overall development standards across the team.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven commercial experience as a Frontend or React Developer, building complex, single-page web applications.
• Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3/SASS, alongside experience with state management solutions (e.g., Redux, Context API).
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, asynchronous request handling, and modern frontend build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite, Babel).
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and writing unit/integration tests using frameworks like Jest or React Testing Library.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a genuine drive to learn and master new web technologies.

Nice-to-Have

• Familiarity with Next.js, Server-Side Rendering (SSR), or Static Site Generation (SSG).
• Experience with TypeScript in a production environment.
• Knowledge of web accessibility (WCAG) standards and performance optimisation techniques.
