Role Overview
Zapp is London’s leading premium convenience retail platform, disrupting the multi-trillion dollar market through best-in-class technology and fulfillment. We are seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to serve as the operational backbone of our Ambient category. Operating at the intersection of high-end curation and hyper-growth logistics, you will ensure our 'virtual shelves' are always stocked with the right products, delivered to customers in minutes.
Key Responsibilities
- Purchase Order Management: Monitor stock levels across Fulfillment Centres and place purchase orders to maintain optimal inventory levels and availability.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers, managing communications, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Performance Reporting: Track and report on supplier service levels daily to ensure high fulfillment rates and address supply disruptions proactively.
- Data-Driven Demand Forecasting: Utilize tools like Excel and Power BI to analyze sales trends, review automated PO recommendations, and minimize stockouts or excess inventory.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Liaise with the Distribution Centre to resolve inventory discrepancies and support daily operations while identifying process improvements to automate manual tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in data analysis using Excel / Google Sheets.
- Experience with Business Intelligence platforms (e.g., Power BI, Looker).
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Previous experience in Quick Commerce or FMCG retail.
- Experience with supply chain automation or process improvement projects.
