Senior Finance Recruiter

Ready to elevate your finance recruitment career on an international scale? Untapped is seeking a high-performing Senior Finance Recruiter based remotely in South Africa to spearhead a dedicated contingent channel for a prestigious UK-based executive search firm. In this role, you will lead end-to-end recruitment processes for senior finance mandates (£90k–£125k range) across PE-backed, VC-backed, and founder-led businesses in the UK, Europe, and the US. Operating with high autonomy, you will manage live roles while establishing a direct pathway into delivering high-value, retained CFO search mandates as the function expands.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full-lifecycle contingent finance mandates from intake brief to candidate placement across UK and international markets.
• Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter and targeted advertising strategies to directly source and engage high-caliber finance leaders.
• Conduct structured first-stage interviews via CoRecruit, evaluating technical expertise, commercial acumen, and character fit.
• Generate detailed candidate write-ups and evaluation scorecards for executive leadership review.
• Integrate modern AI tools (such as ChatGPT and Claude) into workflows to optimize sourcing efficiency and report generation.
• Gather market intelligence and identify commercial lead opportunities through candidate conversations to support organizational growth.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven track record in mid-to-senior level finance and accountancy recruitment.
• Advanced expertise using LinkedIn Recruiter for headhunting, pipeline building, and job posting management.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct rigorous, competency-based candidate interviews and assessments.
• Strong commercial acumen with refined negotiation skills and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Proficiency with modern AI sourcing tools to enhance recruitment speed and quality.
• Self-motivated and capable of managing a busy caseload independently from a remote environment in South Africa.

Nice-to-Have

• Prior experience recruiting within UK, European, or US finance markets.
• Background in interim or contract finance recruitment.
• Familiarity with CoRecruit or similar video interview and ATS platforms.
