We're hiring on behalf of a leading legal recruitment firm partnering with top law firms, financial institutions, and corporations. Their Private Practice team works exclusively with Magic Circle and elite US firms in London — one of the most sought-after desks in legal recruitment.

The Role You'll be working at the top end of the London legal market — Magic Circle, Silver Circle, and elite US firms — where the candidates are exceptional, heavily approached, and don't respond to average outreach.

You'll sit at the heart of the Private Practice desk: running market mapping projects, building and managing outreach campaigns, and providing high-quality operational support to consultants working on high-value mandates. The work is intellectually demanding, the cycles are long, and the wins are meaningful.

What You'll Own <u>Candidate Outreach & Campaigns</u>

  • Build and manage LinkedIn Recruiter and InMail campaigns targeting lawyers at Magic Circle, Silver Circle, and US firms
  • Engage target candidates, introduce the firm, share relevant opportunities, and schedule calls with consultants
  • Capture and relay market intelligence — motivations, compensation, referral schemes, interview processes

<u>Market Mapping & Talent Projects</u>

  • Identify and track high-demand candidate groups across specific practice areas and class years
  • Maintain segmented target lists and run structured follow-up projects to keep key talent warm
  • Support consultants on competitive, high-value mandates

<u>Consultant Support & Operations</u>

  • Manage candidate CVs and information on client portals
  • Oversee job board postings and applications
  • Maintain Client Terms of Business, contractual documentation, and the Client Bible
  • Produce activity and pipeline reports for the team

<u>Database & CRM</u>

  • Maintain accurate Salesforce records for candidates and clients
  • Ensure clean data flow between Salesforce and tools including Pirical, LinkedIn, and Pipelaunch

What You Bring

  • 4+ years' agency recruitment experience in legal, professional services, finance, or another complex market
  • University degree (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience running LinkedIn Recruiter campaigns and engaging heavily approached, senior candidates
  • Strong intellectual curiosity — able to learn technical subject matter quickly and hold credible conversations with senior professionals
  • Proven track record of converting candidates in a tough market
  • Resilient and commercially grounded — comfortable in markets with long cycles and few quick wins
  • Highly organised with strong data accuracy; Salesforce experience a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; confident working remotely with a London-based team

What's On Offer

  • Fully remote, permanent role
  • UK-aligned hours
  • Base salary up to R55,000 pm, negotiable depending on experience
    • Commission structure:
      • £550 per placement on deals below £50,000 fee value
      • £850 per placement on deals above £50,000 fee value
      • £650 monthly bonus when three placements are secured in a calendar month
  • Direct exposure to Magic Circle and elite US firm mandates
  • A genuine path to broader recruitment responsibilities as you grow into the role
