Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Technology Leadership: Define and execute a progressive, long-term IT and digital roadmap that supports Liverpool FC’s ambitious global commercial and sporting objectives.
• Infrastructure & Security Modernisation: Oversee the evolution of our enterprise architecture, cloud environments, and robust cybersecurity frameworks to ensure elite-level operational resilience.
• Data & Analytics Innovation: Champion cutting-edge data initiatives that enhance fan engagement platforms, business intelligence, and high-performance sports science integration.
• Product & Engineering Excellence: Lead, mentor, and scale our high-performing engineering and product teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical mastery.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with executive leadership, football operations, and commercial partners to align technology investments with revenue and performance goals.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven Executive Leadership: Demonstrated success as a CTO, VP of Technology, or high-level IT Director, preferably within a fast-paced, high-growth global brand, media, or sporting organisation.
• Scalable Architecture Expertise: Deep hands-on experience guiding cloud migrations (AWS/Azure), enterprise SaaS integrations, and building high-traffic digital products.
• Strategic Vision & Change Management: A proven track record of driving digital transformation initiatives, managing substantial budgets, and building high-performing, diverse technical teams.
• Outstanding Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable business strategies for non-technical stakeholders and external partners.
• Commercial Acumen: Strong experience managing vendor relationships, negotiating complex software contracts, and delivering technology that directly boosts commercial revenue.
