ABOUT VOLTA
Volta is the category-defining, fully vertically integrated AI infrastructure platform – from capital to clusters to software, under a founder-led enterprise. Our mission is The Utility of Compute™: AI infrastructure as dependable and available as electricity, for every organization that needs it. Launched with a $10B strategic partnership with one of the leading frontier AI labs, a Series A led by Andreessen Horowitz, and a $5B AI Infrastructure Fund, Volta is building the infrastructure layer of the AI era from the ground up. We are 100+ people across London, Palo Alto, and New York, with rapid growth expectations to hundreds.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Volta is building AI factories across Europe and North America at a scale and pace rarely seen in the market.
Our first 133MW AI factory in Norway will deploy NVIDIA Vera Rubin systems, with more than 1GW of contracted power pipeline behind it and further sites already progressing through preconstruction in the Nordics and the United States.
The VP, Global DC Delivery will own how these sites are planned, built and handed over to operations, with accountability for cost, schedule, safety and quality across the global programme.
You will build and lead the delivery organisation across preconstruction, regional delivery, site project teams, the portfolio office and partner data centre deployments.
Working closely with Volta's Design and Engineering and functional teams, you will create one delivery model that can scale across multiple countries and projects.
We are looking for someone who has led hyperscale data centre delivery across multiple regions, managed major capital programmes and built the organisation, standards and playbook needed to deliver repeatedly at scale.
