Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior HR Manager to join our growing team. This is a pivotal role that will oversee both our talent acquisition efforts and generalist HR functions. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader, adept at developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract top talent, while also managing the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to employee relations and performance management. You will be instrumental in shaping our company culture and ensuring our HR practices are efficient, compliant, and aligned with our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition: Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring for various roles across the company. Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to build a robust talent pipeline.
- HR Operations & Strategy: Manage core HR functions, including employee onboarding/offboarding, benefits administration, policy development, and compliance with UK employment law. Partner with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals.
- Employee Relations & Performance Management: Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing guidance on employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and performance management processes. Champion initiatives that foster a positive and productive work environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar senior HR role, with a strong background in both recruitment and generalist HR.
- In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing successful recruitment strategies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- CIPD Level 7 qualification.
- Experience working in a high-growth tech or startup environment.
- Proficiency with modern HRIS and ATS platforms.
