Slash Staffing is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Venue Booking & Tour Coordinator based in the United States to help drive an exciting transition from private events into public, ticketed live shows and multi-city tours.
In this role, you will lead the research and coordination required to map out performance opportunities across the country. You will work closely with live entertainment spaces, analyzing room capacities, establishing key contacts, and managing the booking pipeline to bring captivating performances to fresh audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Research potential venues, performance spaces, and live entertainment opportunities across the United States.
- Identify and document key venue contacts, capacities, technical and booking criteria, and date availability.
- Conduct outreach to venues, assist with booking communications, and coordinate scheduling details.
- Maintain comprehensive, organized records of industry contacts, communications, follow-ups, and active opportunities.
- Support the planning and execution of multi-city tour itineraries and public, ticketed events.
- Assist with entertainment marketing efforts and promotional initiatives tied to upcoming performances.
Required Skills & Experience
- Direct experience in venue booking, live event coordination, touring, ticketed productions, talent booking, or a related entertainment field.
- Sound knowledge of how live venues evaluate, schedule, and contract talent.
- Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, with confidence conducting direct venue outreach.
- Demonstrated organizational abilities with the discipline to track multiple leads, dates, and logistics simultaneously.
- High attention to detail and strong independent research skills.
Nice-to-Have
- Background in entertainment marketing, social media promotion, or live event advertising.
- Hands-on experience supporting artist or talent management teams.
- Established familiarity with independent and ticketed venues throughout the United States.
