QA Tester

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and methodical QA Tester to join our growing technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and analysis. You will work closely with developers and product managers to identify, document, and resolve bugs, ensuring a seamless user experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases (manual and automated) to ensure software meets design specifications and quality standards.
• Identify, record, and meticulously document bugs in our tracking system (e.g., Jira), and verify bug fixes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to understand requirements and provide feedback on usability and functionality.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, providing a quality assurance perspective and contributing to the continuous improvement of our development lifecycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in a software quality assurance or testing role.
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with manual testing for web and/or mobile applications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and scripting languages.
