Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Trader Recruiter to join our dynamic Talent Acquisition team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the full-cycle recruitment of high-calibre trading professionals, from junior to senior levels, across various asset classes (e.g., equities, fixed income, derivatives, crypto). You will partner closely with trading desk heads and senior leadership to understand their unique hiring needs, build robust talent pipelines, and secure the best talent in a highly competitive market.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for all trading-related roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
- Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to identify and attract top-tier quantitative and discretionary traders, researchers, and portfolio managers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to act as a trusted advisor on talent acquisition strategies, market trends, and compensation.
- Proactively build and maintain a network of passive candidates through market mapping, industry events, and strategic outreach.
- Ensure a best-in-class candidate experience, providing timely and constructive feedback throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a recruiter, specifically focusing on front-office finance roles within a hedge fund, proprietary trading firm, or investment bank.
- Deep understanding of the trading landscape, including different strategies, asset classes, and the key skills required for success.
- Demonstrable track record of successfully placing high-calibre trading talent.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience recruiting for quantitative or systematic trading roles.
- A strong existing network of contacts within the trading community.
- Familiarity with advanced sourcing tools and recruitment technologies.
