QA Automation Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive QA Automation Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks to ensure the highest quality standards for our software products. You will work closely with developers and product managers to identify potential issues early in the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust automated test suites for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Conduct thorough bug analysis, documentation, and tracking to ensure timely resolution of defects.
• Perform exploratory and manual testing where automation is not yet feasible or appropriate.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and quality assurance standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience in software quality assurance and automated testing.
• Strong proficiency in writing clean, maintainable code in languages such as Python or JavaScript.
• Experience with testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.

Nice-to-have Qualifications

• Experience with performance and load testing tools.
• Knowledge of containerisation technologies like Docker.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
