Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Blockchain Infrastructure Engineer to join our distributed ledger technology (DLT) team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure engineering combined with deep expertise in blockchain technologies, particularly Ethereum and Hyperledger Besu. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the foundational infrastructure for our enterprise-grade blockchain solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability. This role is critical for advancing our DLT initiatives within the financial services sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate robust, scalable, and secure blockchain infrastructure using Hyperledger Besu and other Ethereum-based technologies.
- Develop and maintain smart contracts, ensuring they are secure, efficient, and meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, security experts, and product managers, to deliver high-quality DLT solutions.
- Automate the deployment, monitoring, and management of blockchain nodes and networks using modern DevOps practices (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code).
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and network issues, ensuring high availability and performance of our blockchain platforms.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software or infrastructure engineering.
- Demonstrable, hands-on experience with Hyperledger Besu is an absolute must.
- Proven expertise in blockchain technology, including Ethereum, smart contract development (e.g., Solidity), and consensus mechanisms.
- Strong background in infrastructure management, cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Based in or willing to work from one of the following locations: New York, New Jersey, Dallas, Boston, or Tampa.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working within large financial institutions such as Fidelity, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, Bitwise, Galaxy, etc. 
- Experience with other enterprise blockchain platforms (e.g., Corda, Hyperledger Fabric).
- Familiarity with cryptographic principles and blockchain security best practices.
