Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support our Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) program. This role focuses on reviewing patient biometric data, documenting findings, and preparing medical reports for provider review. The position is fully remote and works closely with U.S.-based clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and monitor daily RPM data (blood pressure, glucose, pulse oximetry, weight, heart rate, etc.)
- Identify abnormal readings and flag them according to established clinical protocols
- Document patient data and observations accurately in the EMR/EHR system
- Prepare clear, organized medical summaries and reports for physicians and care teams
- Communicate findings to supervising clinicians as required
- Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain strict patient confidentiality
- Assist with patient outreach related to missing data or device compliance (if assigned)
- Support general clinical documentation and administrative tasks related to RPM programs
Required Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification or equivalent clinical training
- Experience with clinical documentation and medical terminology
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems
- Strong written English skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable reviewing numerical health data and following protocols
- Reliable internet connection and ability to work U.S. business hours
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with Remote Patient Monitoring programs
- Experience supporting U.S.-based clinics or physicians
- Background in chronic care management (CCM) or telehealth
- Experience working with RPM platforms or connected medical devices
