Role Overview
Our client is seeking a creative and commercially-minded Account Director to join our employee-owned brand experience agency. You will act as a trusted partner for global technology brands, bridging the gap between business strategy and bold creative execution. This role is designed for a strategic thinker who is energised by big ideas and possesses the agility to lead complex projects from initial prospecting through to final delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic & Creative Leadership: Partner with strategists and designers to translate client objectives into inspiring creative briefs while championing brave, future-focused solutions.
- Business Development: Act as a key player in prospecting and pitches, identifying unique hooks and stories that secure new business and grow existing accounts.
- Relationship Management: Build deep, trust-based relationships with senior stakeholders, ensuring smart, collaborative decision-making across all workstreams.
- Commercial & Operational Excellence: Manage the end-to-end commercial lifecycle, including revenue forecasting, proposal development, and the securing of measurable scopes of work.
- Team Collaboration: Act as a connector between departments, fostering a high-performance environment where creativity and technical innovation can thrive.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience within brand experience, events, or experiential design.
- Proven track record working with global technology brands.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and persuasive presentation skills.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in opportunity mining and budget reconciliation.
- A portfolio demonstrating both high-level delivery and the strategic creative thinking behind it.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience working within a B Corp or employee-owned business structure.
- Advanced knowledge of emerging technologies and their application in physical brand experiences.
