Role Overview

Join our dynamic Human Resources team as a Senior Consultant, Talent Acquisition specialising in Technology. This 9-month contract role is designed for a recruitment expert who is passionate about identifying top-tier tech talent and building strategic partnerships with hiring managers. You will be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, focusing on niche technical roles while driving diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sourcing: Lead the identification and engagement of niche technology talent (Software Engineers, Architects, Cloud Engineers) using innovative headhunting techniques and diverse sourcing channels.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Leverage recruitment matrices and TA analytics to craft comprehensive business reports, presentations, and updates for leadership.
  • Diversity & Inclusion: Deliver on diversity requirements by leading diversity-focused events, community partnerships, and networking initiatives to reach equity-deserving groups.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strategic relationships with hiring managers, providing expert consultation on market intelligence and hiring decisions.
  • Full Lifecycle Management: Conduct high-quality behavioural interviews, manage candidate experiences, and lead both in-person and virtual recruitment events.

Must-have requirements:

• 8 Years of experience hiring for niche technology roles including but not limited to Software Engineers, Architects, Cloud Engineers, Test Automation Engineers, Agile etc.,

• Hands-on headhunting and innovative sourcing skills to scout the market for strong tech candidates via tech platforms, professional media networks, events, resume mining and more

• Knowledge and hands-on expertise in leveraging data for TA analytics, compliance and data-driven TA delivery, with attention to detail

• Experience in behavioral interviewing techniques, strong business acumen and advising on hiring decisions

• Progressive recruitment experience, leading initiatives and building recruitment strategies

Nice-To-Have Skills:

• Familiarity with Success Factor is an asset.

• Bilingual communication skills in French and/or Spanish is an asset.

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple high priority requests simultaneously.

• Ability to work well as a team player and independently; proactive and flexible; adaptable to change and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple shifting priorities.

• Excellent organizational/time-management skills to manage the volume of executive search.

• Provides recommendations for improvement/streamlining work as needed.

Education:

Post-secondary degree or diploma preferred.
