Account Executive - Enterprise
£240k - £300k OTE (50/50 base + variable)

Hired By Startups is hiring on behalf of a Series B agentic AI startup selling to enterprise. Series B, household name enterprise clients signed, and a genuinely differentiated technical product in a category that's still being defined.
Reporting to the CRO, you'll own the full enterprise sales cycle from origination to close and help build the playbook as one of the first commercial hires. This is a build role, not a seat in a finished machine.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end enterprise sales cycle, from self-generated pipeline through multi-stakeholder close.
- Personally close six, seven and eight-figure deals with Director to C-suite buyers across Data, Finance, Operations and IT.
- Generate at least 50% of your own pipeline through targeted outbound and partner-sourced motion.
- Land and expand within named accounts.
- Partner with Solutions Engineering, Product and Customer Success to turn technical proof-of-value into commercial commitment.
- Meet and exceed annual revenue targets.
Requirements
- 5+ years enterprise B2B sales: large deals, long cycles, multiple stakeholders.
- Sold enterprise AI, advanced analytics, or data-science-adjacent software to technical and business buyers jointly.
- Proven $200k+ ACV deal experience with complex procurement (legal, security, IT).
- Track record of self-sourcing at least 50% of pipeline.
- Startup scaling experience, plus exposure to a larger sales org.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation and relationship-building.
- London-based or within commute for 3 days a week hybrid.
Nice-to-Have
- Familiarity with major data platforms or agentic AI / LLMs.
- Relationships with Fortune 500 back-office buyers (CFO, COO, CISO).
Comp
- £120k–£150k base, depending on experience.
- Uncapped commission, double OTE (£240k–£300k).
