Location Groningen, Netherlands

Contract 12 month contract

Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Data Centre Infrastructure Project Manager to support a global hyperscale operator on a critical infrastructure programme in Groningen, Netherlands.

This role is focused on the on site delivery of data centre infrastructure within a live hyperscale environment, supporting high density compute and ML deployment.

You will coordinate across IT deployment, facilities, M&E, contractors, and vendors to ensure the programme is delivered on time and with minimal disruption to live operations.

Immediate start preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery of data centre infrastructure workstreams in a live hyperscale environment
  • Coordinate across IT deployment, facilities, M&E, contractors, and vendors
  • Manage programme schedule, risks, dependencies, and reporting
  • Support power, cooling, fibre, and server readiness activities
  • Drive installation, integration, commissioning readiness, and operational handover
  • Ensure delivery remains aligned to site requirements, safety standards, and programme milestones

Core Technical Skills

  1. Data Centre Infrastructure Delivery Experience delivering infrastructure programmes in live or operational data centre environments.
  2. Hyperscale Deployment Coordination Experience coordinating across IT deployment, facilities, M&E, contractors, vendors, and operational teams.
  3. Programme and On Site Delivery Management Proven ability to manage schedules, risks, dependencies, stakeholder updates, and on site delivery through to handover.

Must Have Experience

  • Data centre or mission critical infrastructure delivery experience
  • Experience working in live or operational environments
  • Strong stakeholder and contractor coordination experience
  • Exposure to power, cooling, fibre, server deployment, or high density compute infrastructure
  • Able to work on site in Groningen, Netherlands

Not Suitable

  • Pure software or AI project managers
  • Candidates without data centre or mission critical infrastructure experience
  • Candidates who have only worked remotely or in office based PM roles
