QA Automation Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a meticulous QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the highest quality of our software products. You will work closely with developers and product managers to identify potential issues early in the development lifecycle and maintain our rigorous quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, scalable automated test frameworks for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with the development team to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using industry-standard tools.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved to ensure system stability.
• Analyse test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders on product health.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role within an agile environment.
• Strong proficiency in writing automated tests using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
• Familiarity with containerisation technologies like Docker.
